About Georgia Medicaid
Medical Assistance Plans is the largest Division within the Georgia Department of Community Health. It administers the Medicaid and PeachCare for Kids® programs which provide access to health care for children, pregnant women, and people who are aging, blind and/or disabled. This Division is led by Deputy Commissioner Ryan Loke.
The Georgia Department of Community Health (DCH) is one of Georgia’s four health agencies serving the state’s growing population of almost 10 million people. Caylee Noggle serves as the Commissioner of DCH.
In addition, DCH is governed by a nine-person board, the Board of Community Health, appointed by the Governor. The Board meets regularly on the second Thursday of each month unless otherwise noted on the DCH website.
