Shared Tools

MEST consists of several ongoing and upcoming projects that integrate with existing Medicaid tools and systems across the Medicaid enterprise. MEST program modules include core systems such as Member Management, Provider Enrollment, Claims Processing, and Financial Management. Although these modules are independently procured and implemented, they will integrate with each other across the MEST Integration Platform. This platform will provide connectivity of a variety of Medicaid and other tools and technology, and access to shared tools, including:

  • security compliance tools and documentation
  • content management tools
  • configuration management tools
  • change control mechanisms
  • data services
